The Malaysian Communication and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) has announced that personal radio service device(s) operating in the 477.0125 MHz to 477.4875 MHz and 477.5250 MHz to 477.9875 MHz frequency bands range will be no longer permitted effective on 1st January 2023 onwards.

No new purchase and/or importation of any new personal radio service device(s) operating in the above frequencies will be allowed.
